Eligibility

1. This promotion is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) or the Republic of Ireland, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. In order to qualify for the Promotion, participants must purchase an IRWIN Jack 880 Saw 14”, 20” or 22” product between the 1st September 2019 and 31st December 2019. Entries for products purchased before or after this promotional period will be deemed invalid. The only Qualifying Products are the following Irwin 880 Universal Jack Saws:

4. How to Enter
a. Purchase a qualifying Irwin 880 Universal Jack Saw between 01.09.2019 -31.12.19 from participating retailers to enter into 1 of 4 Prize Draws.
b. Retain proof of purchase to enter. Proof of age may be required to claim a prize.
c. Visit www.sawtedforlife.co.uk to complete all required details including name, address and proof of purchase.
d. Proof of purchase must be uploaded as an image.
e. Participants, who are unable to upload the supporting documentation to verify their entry, may send their printed claim form with a photocopy of their full purchase receipt to IRWIN Saws Promotion, Fluid Thinking, 15 De Montford Street, Leicester LE17GE. (Please note: the Promoter will not return original documentation) and an image of their product barcode to the address below on or before 07.01.2020.

7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all claims to protect itself against fraudulent, invalid or repetitive claims including, without limitation, to require the participant to prove that it did not return the product within the period of 30 days from the date of delivery.
8. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending of your online registration. Incomplete registrations will not be processed. Lost, delayed or incomplete postal claims are not the responsibility of the Promoter.

13. Retailers participating in this promotion will display promotional point of sale.
14. You will be asked for a valid proof of purchase to enter and you must retain this information to claim.
15. If you apply by postal means, please note the Promoter will not return your original documentation.
16. You will be required to evidence that you did not return the product within 30 days of purchase for reasons of refund. If you have returned the product within 30 days of purchase under these circumstances you may forfeit your entry.

Prize Draws

17. Prize Draws: a maximum of 4 Prize Draws will take place to award 1 x Prize per draw will be made from correct entries received across the following dates:
a. Draw 1 September 2019: takes place on 01.10.2019, for qualifying purchases made between 01.09.2019 and 30.09.2019
b. Draw 2 October 2019: takes place on 01.11.2019 for qualifying purchases made between 01.10.2019 and 31.10.2019
c. Draw 3 November 2019 takes place on 01.12.2019 for qualifying purchases made between 01.11.2019 and 30.11.2019
d. Draw 4 December 2019 takes place after 07.01.2020 for qualifying purchases made between 01.12.2019 and 31.12.2019.

Winner Selection & Notification

18. 1 x Winners will be selected from correct answers to the question provided during the entry process and entered into the corresponding draw.
19. Each winning entry will be verified alongside proof of purchase provided with entry into each draw (4 in total)
20. Each draw takes place on the date specified:
Draw 1: September takes place on 01.10.2019,
Draw 2: October takes place on 01.11.2019
Draw 3: November takes place on 01.12.2019
Draw 4: December takes place after 07.01.2020 to take account of any entries received up to 07.01.2020.
21. 1 winner and up to 3 reserve winners will be drawn at the time of each Draw. If a winner is unable to claim, is forfeit or is not able to claim prize in the process set out in these terms or for any other reason, the Promoter will use the next reserve drawn to allocate the prize from that specific draw.
22. Each winner will be notified within 72 hours of each draw by email. Emails will only be sent to winners. Please note you will not receive an email to confirm entry into the prize draw.
23. A total of 2 (two) emails will be sent to winners notifying of prize won. The first email within 72 hours of winning and if no contact received, a further email will be sent within 5 working days of the first email. Winners have 28 days to claim their prize. If after this time, no response has been received from the winner, the Promoter will refer to the reserve winners drawn as set out in these terms.
24. Winners will be asked to confirm all delivery address details supplied at time of entry and confirm their permission to include surname and county in winners details published after the promotion closes. Winners may opt to remove or minimise any details published publicly as a result of this promotion.
25. It is the responsibility of the entrant to check junk / spam to ensure they are in receipt of promotional communication within 28 days of it being sent. The Promoter is not responsible for an entrant making a late claim on their win if this email is missed / not read because it was in their junk folder.
26. When the prize has been claimed and if the winner does not provide the correct postal address details at the time of entry and winner confirmation, their prize may be relinquished. If required, an email prompt will be made to request address details but if after 28 days, these details are not provided, the Promoter reserves the right to use reserve winners drawn at the time of each draw.

The Prizes

There are 4 x Lifetime Supply of IRWIN Saws to be won across 4 x Draws as detailed

27. Each prize consists of a ‘Lifetime’s Supply’ of IRWIN Saws which is determined as x780 IRWIN saws, based on using a maximum of 26 saws x 30 years
28. Each Prize will be provided as a total of 780 saws to the winner’s address. Proof of age may be required to take delivery of the Prize.
29. Winners will need to choose to receive either 780 x 20” Uncoated Saws (SKU 10505212) or 780 x 22″ Uncoated Saws (SKU 10505213) as their Prize.
30. Please allow for 28 days for delivery of the Prize.
31. No alternatives or cash alternatives are available. Prizes are not transferable to any third party.
32. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an equivalent or greater value should the original prize offered become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control.
33. Prizes are not for re-sale. If you do not wish to retain your prize, please contact the Promoter to arrange return. No compensation will be given in such circumstances.

General

34. Each Winner will be required to confirm if their details can be used in publication of Winners Lists. Any Winner opting to have their details removed or minimised will be reflected in the Winners List details made available to the public on request. All Winners details are retained by the Promoter for prize validation and verification.
35. The Promoter reserves the right to use prize winners’ information in any marketing and publicity materials which they may choose to issue (at our discretion) and if requested, the winner will participate in any publicity or other promotional activities as they may reasonably request without any further recompense.
36. The prize winners’ full names and counties are available by emailing Chiara.agnoli@sbdinc.com within three months of the Closing Date.
37. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, or reasonable belief to suspect collusion to subvert the terms of this promotion, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
38. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
39. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize/gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
40. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
41. English law will settle any dispute concerning the interpretation and application of the rules and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
42. The Promoter’s decisions regarding all promotional matters shall be final and no other correspondence will be entered in to.
